There are two podcast recording studios on the first floor of Addlestone Library near the computer lab. These spaces are ideal for recording podcasts,interviews, and presentations. Studios are equipped with audio and video recording equipment, power, and ports. Additional equipment including microphones, headphones, and USB adapters can be checked out from the Access & Instruction Desk.
CofC students, faculty, and staff may reserve the studios for up to 2 hours/day. FOL members interested in using a studio should contact the Access & Instruction Desk.
Podcast studios are for recording projects and are not intended for use as a study space: find a study space.
At the time of your reservation, visit the Access and Instruction Desk to check out the key for the studio and any additional equipment. When you are finished, please lock the door before returning the key to the Access & Instruction Desk.
Over the summer, Addlestone Library will be undergoing renovations that may cause disruptive background noise audible within the Podcast Studios. We have no control over the volume of the work, nor the timing of when it may occur. If you are looking to record in the Podcast Studios, you may want to schedule a time after 6pm to reduce the likelihood of interruption. We apologize for the inconvenience.
