Dr. Conseula Francis Reading Circle Virtual Discussion of Sankofa Shadow Work with author Sara Makeba Daise Online
Join us via Zoom for a special Reading Circle discussion of Sankofa Shadow Work: Diaries of a Diasporic Diviner, featuring author and scholar, Sara Makeba Daise.
"Sankofa Shadow Work...is an ancestral literary cosmogram following the intimate journey of a Black queer Southern Diviner, Griot, and Gatekeeper. Blending memoir, public history, conjure, and folklore, it offers a powerful exploration of life, death, and rebirth cycles, centering the quest to love and heal her ancestors and herself in a world hostile to Black life."
Continue to join the Dr. Conseula Francis Reading Circle virtually, as we celebrate 10 years of lively book discussions!
