Where Marcus cannot envision a process of reparation without a return of land and capital to African Americans robbed of their property, Jean-Marie adds that the returned land itself needs much reparations. Charleston could draw an Agenda of conciliation around the restitution of land, general care for land and environment, history, culture, equity and access.
