The Art of Escape: Community Writing Workshop In-Person
Join us on Wednesday for a Community Writing workshop to engage with the power of words and language. Tricia Hersey will guide the group through writing prompts that explore the themes of escape, marronage, and community care.
Anyone with an interest in journaling, poetry, and storytelling please join.
All skill levels are welcome. Dinner will be provided.
Event will be at the Avery Research Center for African American History & Culture (125 Bull Street, Charleston, SC).
RSVP not required but highly encouraged.
