Honoring Women’s History Month, we are proud to host Greenville, South Carolina first Poet Laureate Glenis Redmond.
Join us for a virtual discussion of her poems in The Song of Everything: A Poet’s Exploration of South Carolina’s State Parks on Thursday, March 27th (6:30-7:30pm EST) to discuss .
“Being diagnosed with cancer and amid COVID, Glenis Redmond visits South Carolina's State Parks with her grandson, Julian, as a life-affirming act for both of them. This pocket-sized collection of poems explores the enduring connection between the natural world and our internal landscape. Her poetry invites everyone to rediscover the wonders of the world around us, the stories they have to tell, and the lessons they have to teach us.”
