The SC Interpreters Brown bag happens twice a year at a different site in the state and is a professional development opportunity to get interpreters and educators of South Carolina together to visit a cool interpretive site, get out of the office, and network with each other in an informal setting. You do not need to be a member of the National Association for Interpretation to attend this gathering. All interpreters are welcome!

Since Avery is the host site for this brown bag, we added a special networking event beforehand just for Black and Brown interpreters and tour guides in South Carolina! Come to network and discuss the unique issues and experiences of Black and Brown tourism professionals in our state and stay for additional networking opportunites, tours and off site excusions.
